CHARTER avionics demonstrator works!
NLR has successfully integrated the avionics use case, the environment simulator and the soft cockpit panels. The avionics use case is a simplified aircraft Environment Control System (ECS) that controls the temperature for a single zone of an aircraft. The environment simulator, the so-called ECS plant, provides sensor measurements and processes actuator setpoints received from the ECS. The soft cockpit panels mimic the cockpit Airconditioning Page and the Airconditioning Control panel.
